Anderson Motorsport will expand to two Fords for the 2025 Dunlop Series, acquiring another ex-Dick Johnson Racing Mustang and signing rising star Ryan Tomsett.

The Anderson team has run a single-car Super2 operation since 2023, when Zak Best fought for the title with the squad.

Anderson Motorsport has signed a multi-year deal with 17-year-old Toyota 86 rising star Tomsett, who won the 2023 Kaizen Award.

The two DJR-built Anderson Motorsport Fords will be overseen by experienced engineer Brendan Hogan.

Team boss Michael Anderson has seen enough from Tomsett to be convinced he’s the real deal.

Tomsett will follow in the footsteps of the likes of current Dunlop Series racers Jarrod Hughes and Cody Burcher, with the latter clinching the Super3 title at Mount Panorama.

The team currently leads the rookie standings with Max Vidau, who recently fought off a severe bout of food poisoning to claim a round podium in Bathurst.

The ex-Porsche star has yet to confirm his plans for 2025, with Anderson Motorsport currently in discussions with the driver.

Tomsett will resume his GR Cup campaign at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 and VAILO Adelaide 500, where the Dunlop Series will conclude.

Vidau is a mathematical chance at the Super2 crown, sitting 150 points behind leader Zach Bates with one round and 300 points remaining.
