Supercars has expanded its partnership with Boost Mobile for the upcoming 2024 Repco Supercars Championship season which thanks to Boost Mobile includes an increased new prize pool for pole winners of $100,000.

The official telecommunications partner of the Repco Supercars Championship and naming rights sponsor of the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, will add another major asset to its portfolio, becoming the naming rights of Supercars and Dunlop Series qualifying.

Starting with the Thrifty Bathurst 500, qualifying sessions for Supercars and the development series will be known as Boost Mobile Qualifying, with the pole sitter to be awarded the Boost Mobile Pole and a cash prize for topping the time sheets with one blazing lap.

As an added incentive to drivers, the cash prize for the driver who claims pole position will increase considerably this season, starting with this weekend’s Thrifty Bathurst 500, where pole sitters for the two Supercars races at this weekend’s Thrifty Bathurst 500 will receive $5000.

The pole position winner of the Repco Bathurst 1000 will in 2024 receive a new $15,000 cash prize and the end of season Boost Mobile Pole Champion will receive $25,000.

Jason Haynes of Boost Mobile emphasised the company's dedication to innovation and speed through its partnership with Supercars.

"Boost Mobile's expanded presence in Supercars reflects our commitment to delivering unparalleled experiences for the fans and support for the world class talent of the Supercars drivers," Haynes said.

“Excitement, adrenaline, and speed are traits that are aligned to Boost Mobile and Supercars, and we plan to continue pushing the envelope when it comes to showcasing the best in this great sport.

“We are very excited to sponsor Boost Mobile Qualifying, and I am looking forward to handing out the first Boost Mobile Pole cheque this weekend to our first pole sitters of 2024.”

Supercars General Manager of Commercial, Jamie Black, said: "Boost Mobile has been a valuable partner and supporter of Supercars for many years, and we are delighted to expand that partnership into the 2024 season.

“Their commitment to innovation, enhancing the fan experience, and featuring our fastest and brightest make Boost Mobile a fitting match for Supercars and Dunlop Series Qualifying.

“We look forward to sitting on the edge of our seats as the best in our game battle it out week after week for the Boost Mobile Pole across 2024.”

In line with supporting the fastest drivers in Supercars, a new feature available to Boost Mobile customers in Australia this year is the ESIM, a rewritable SIM card which users can download online to start using their data faster.

Haynes highlighted Boost Mobile's ESIM program, stating: "Boost Mobile ESIM are designed to give users faster activation times and more flexibility so they can use their data quicker and better.

“It falls perfectly in line with what Boost represents as a brand and bringing that theme into Supercars with Boost Mobile Qualifying makes for a perfect match.”

The Boost Mobile Pole Award will officially debut on Saturday ahead of the opening race of the year at the Thrifty Bathurst 500 in Dunlop Series qualifying, and again following the Boost Mobile Top Ten Shootout to set the grid for Race 1 of the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship.

Live coverage of the Thrifty Bathurst 500, taking place February 23-25, can be found on the Seven and Foxtel families of networks, live streaming will be available on Kayo and 7plus. Sky Sport will broadcast live in New Zealand.
