A 33-car field will descend on Sydney Motorsport Park for next month’s return of Dunlop Super2 and Super3 action.

The upcoming Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight will feature the first round of the 2022 Dunlop Series.

The 2022 season will again feature combined grid races for the Super2 and Super3 Series.

A 17-car Super2 grid will feature the debut of seven rookies to the series.

The 33-car grid marks a rise on the 31-car line-up which supported the main game last November.

Eventual series winner Broc Feeney and Tyler Everingham shared the honours in Sydney, the latter scoring victory by just 0.3s.

Last year’s Super2 Series winner Feeney will not be returning to the category in 2022.

The 19-year-old has replaced the retiring Jamie Whincup at Red Bull Ampol Racing.

Zak Best, who finished second in the series last year, will return with Tickford Racing.

Notably, third placed Jayden Ojeda will not be returning to the development series in 2022.

MW Motorsport has secured Angelo Mouzouris, and will be joined by rookie Thomas Maxwell and incumbent Tyler Everingham.

Privateer racer Matt Chahda, who finished fourth in 2021, is confirmed for his seventh season in the series.

Reigning title winners Triple Eight confirmed an all-new driver line-up for 2022, with rookie Cameron Hill making the switch from Porsche Carrera Cup.

Third-year Declan Fraser also joins the Banyo squad for 2022, replacing Feeney in the now #777 Holden Commodore.

Two SuperUtes rivals will make the switch to Super2 this season.

Reigning SuperUtes champion Ryal Harris will join third-generation racer Aaron Seton at Matt Stone Racing.

Experienced ute driver Cameron Crick inked a deal with Eggleston Motorsport, alongside Mike Kable Young Gun Award winner Matt McLean.

Elly Morrow will contest her maiden Super2 campaign with Brad Jones Racing in 2022, making the step up from Super3.

Nash Morris will also graduate to Super2 this season, the Super3 title winner campaigning a Nemo Racing-backed Ford Falcon.

The weekend will also see a strong Dunlop Super3 grid, with 17 Super3 cars to compete at SMSP.

Privateer racers Blake Fardell and Jim Pollicina return to the Super3 grid, having finished fourth and fifth respectively in 2021.

The six-event 2022 Dunlop Series will commence in Sydney in March. CLICK HERE to purchase your tickets.
