Tuesday's running is being conducted to aid teams which have been unable to test with their drivers due to border closures.

Teams have been focusing on endurance race programmes, with driver changes, co-driver laps and pit stop practice a priority over outright speed.

The #8 R&J Batteries Commodore of Nick Percat and Dale Wood clocked the most laps in the morning session.

The #8 Brad Jones Racing entry recorded 60 laps of the 3.93km circuit.

The four BJR cars logged the most laps in the three-and-a-half hour morning session.

The Macauley Jones/Chris Pither and Todd Hazelwood/Dean Fiore cars clocked 56 and 55 laps respectively.

Jack Smith and veteran David Wall, who was announced as Ash Walsh's replacement, clocked 43 laps.

Some teams, like Red Bull Ampol Racing and Team 18, have already used up their allocated test days.

This year's Repco Bathurst 1000 will be run on December 5 as the 2021 season finale.

Prior to the Great Race, there will be six days of on track action for 10 different categories. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will resume this weekend at the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight.

Every session of the event will be broadcast live on Foxtel (Fox Sports 506) and streamed on Kayo.

The Seven Network will provide live free to air coverage of the event.

Tickets for the event are on sale now.
