The first Supercars livery of 2017 has broken cover this morning, with the freshly minted Red Bull Holden Racing Team launching a teaser video that gave us our very first look at Holden’s newest factory paint scheme.
The freshly minted Red Bull Holden Racing Team has launched a teaser video this morning, giving us our very first look at their new livery for the 2017 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.
The team have unveiled a look reminiscent of last year’s Red Bull Formula 1 livery, which will be fully revealed to the public next week.
Six-time champ Jamie Whincup and reigning Virgin Australia Supercars Champion Shane Van Gisbergen will pull on red boots and gloves in 2017, a nod to their new status as factory Holden drivers.
The VF Commodore Supercar features more red throughout, with enlarged Holden logos across the car, however Red Bull remains as the predominant sponsor.
The 2017 Red Bull Holden Racing Team livery will be unveiled next Thursday, January 19 and will race for the first time at the season opening Clipsal 500 Adelaide, on March 2-5.
