Will Brown and Broc Feeney are the drivers vying for Repco Supercars Championship victory in 2024, and would be among the youngest ever to do so.

Brown leads Triple Eight Race Engineering teammate Feeney by 180 points heading to the VAILO Adelaide 500, with 300 points left to win.

Brown and Feeney combine for the youngest pairing on the 2024 grid, and either would become just the 10th driver to win a championship aged in their 20s.

Aged 26 years, five months and 12 days on Adelaide Sunday, Brown would become the eighth youngest driver to win an ATCC/Supercars title, just behind last year's champion, Brodie Kostecki.

Kostecki beat three-time champion Shane van Gisbergen, who Brown replaced at Triple Eight in 2024.

Feeney, meanwhile, would be aged 22 years and 30 days, making him the second youngest driver after Craig Lowndes in 1996. It ensures Lowndes will hang onto the 'youngest ever' record for some time, winning aged 21 years, 11 months and 11 days as a rookie in 1996.

Of 64 championships won, 22 have been won by drivers in their 20s. Lowndes won all three of his titles before turning 30. Rick Kelly comes in second, beating Lowndes in controversial scenes in 2006. Kelly was aged 23 years, 10 months and 23 days.

Mark Skaife took out the first of his five titles at 25 years, two months and 18 days in 1992, and won again aged 27 in 1994.

The late Ian ‘Pete’ Geoghegan won five titles, four of them in his 20s. Geoghegan's first in 1964 came aged 25 years and three months. His first four titles came when the ATCC was contested over a single race.

Scott McLaughlin and Jamie Whincup both won their first championships at 25, with van Gisbergen and Marcos Ambrose aged 27, and Glenn Seton 28.

Brown and Feeney will fight for the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship at the VAILO Adelaide 500 from November 14-17. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
