  • Team 18, Penrite Racing, BJR drop down order

  • Triple Eight sealed teams' championship in Bathurst

The pit lane order will have more changes for the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 following the Repco Bathurst 1000, with winners Erebus Motorsport moving up.

An historic win for Brodie Kostecki/Todd Hazelwood saw the team jump from 10th to eighth in the order, with Erebus now just 156 points behind fifth-placed Penrite Racing.

There will be no change at the top until after next season's opening round in Sydney at least, with Red Bull Ampol Racing clinching its record-extending 12th teams' championship in Bathurst.

Triple Eight entered the endurance season 818 points ahead of its nearest rival, and dual double podiums pushed the team 1225 points clear of Tickford Racing with 1152 points left on offer.

Tickford Racing extended its lead over Walkinshaw Andretti United from seven to 49 points in Bathurst, while the Shell V-Power Racing Team jumped ahead of Penrite Racing into fourth.

The Grove team lost a swag of points courtesy of Matt Payne's shock DNF and Richie Stanaway's last-lap fuel shortage, with the New Zealander crashing out of a comfortable top 10 position in the final 30 laps.

With two rounds remaining, Penrite Racing is level on points with Matt Stone Racing, and is 135 points behind Dick Johnson Racing.

The sleeper in the pack is PremiAir Nulon Racing, which is 206 points behind DJR and 71, behind the Grove and MSR squads.

All told, Penrite Racing, MSR, PremiAir and Erebus are covered by 156 points.

Team 18's tough weekend dropped the Melbourne squad to ninth, with David Reynolds set to receive a new chassis following his Bathurst qualifying crash. Brad Jones Racing's two squads are 10th and 11th, with Blanchard Racing Team bringing up the rear.

The 2024 Repco Supercars Championship will resume at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 on October 25-27. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

Live coverage can be found on Foxtel, with live streaming available on Kayo. The Seven Network will take free to air coverage. International viewers can follow all the action on Superview.
