History favours van Gisbergen should he be kept winless at an event for the first time this season.

Ford has Holden's measure at Winton, albeit in recent history.
The Blue Oval has won 29 times to Holden’s 27; Ford drivers have won eight of the last 14 races dating back to 2014.
Overall, on 18 occasions has the eventual champion failed to win at Winton.
That wasn't the case at the start of the previous decade; in 2010, 2011 and 2012, James Courtney and Jamie Whincup won at least won Winton race.
The very first Winton round in 1985 was won by eventual champion Jim Richards aboard his JPS BMW.
Richards won in 1986, but the championship went to countryman Robbie Francevic and Volvo.
Between 1997 and 2002, the series champion didn’t win at Winton.
