Jamie Whincup has became the latest father in the Supercars paddock following the birth of his first child.
Whincup took to social media on Saturday to announce the birth of his child.

He ended 2021 second overall, and claimed another Barry Sheene Medal as the championship's best and fairest.
"Going home tired, but a lot richer," he posted.

It comes just five weeks before he embarks on his first season as Managing Director and Team Principal of Red Bull Ampol Racing.
The 2021 season was Whincup's last as a full-time driver, with the 124-time race winner retiring from full-time competition at season's end.
He has been replaced by Broc Feeney, who makes the leap from Super2 to the main game in 2022.
Whincup has already commenced his new leadership role, having guided Feeney through the preparation of the teenager's first season.
"Always in the back of my mind I wanted kids, but the timing was never right," Whincup explained at the time of announcing his exciting family news last year.
"I’m actually thankful that I don’t have to qualify two weeks later.
"I don’t know how all these guys have done it, had kids and race at the same time... I can only do one thing at a time!
"Finish up at the end of this year, start a family the start of next year.
"The timing couldn’t be more perfect."
Whincup will commence his new roles at a race weekend for the first time in Sydney in March.
