The BP Ultimate Sydney SuperSprint was a weekend to remember for Anton De Pasquale and Will Brown, who shared the wins.
The former co-drivers were the winners in an enthralling weekend of racing, with rookie Brown making history for Erebus Motorsport..
Check out those who nailed it and those who fell short in the third Sydney Motorsport Park event.
WINNERS
Erebus Motorsport
Brown's Race 28 win was one for the ages, with the 23-year-old helping Erebus to its first win since Darwin 2020.
The Queenslander defied Jamie Whincup and Shane van Gisbergen in a finish for the ages, with Brown winning by less than half a second.
He became the first rookie in eight years to win a race, with teammate Brodie Kostecki also showcasing strong pace over one lap and in the races.
Anton De Pasquale
Two more poles and two more wins ensured De Pasquale was the man to beat at SMSP.
De Pasquale kept his cool in the chaotic Saturday race, before defeating teammate Will Davison in Sunday's first race.
To this weekend, De Pasquale has six poles and five wins across the first three SMSP events.
He is now within reach of the top five in the standings.
Zane Goddard
The Matt Stone Racing driver opened the weekend with finishes of eighth and 11th.
He is now 66 points ahead of teammate Jake Kostecki with just two rounds remaining in his MSR career.
Scott Pye
Dual sixth-place finishes helped Pye help himself to four top 10s in his last six starts.
The Team 18 driver was already on a roll heading into the weekend, having vaulted from 22nd to ninth in the wet Race 25.
His best performance came on Saturday when he raced from 13th to sixth.
Todd Hazelwood
Hazelwood has three top 10s in his last five starts, and ended the weekend with a brilliant charge from 12th to fifth.
LOSERS
Red Bull Ampol Racing
For just the second time in 2021, Triple Eight failed to win a race.
It could have been a simple one-two in Race 28; Whincup and van Gisbergen launched off the front row, and led early.
However, both drivers squabbled with each other and let Brown off the hook.
Tickford Racing
The Ford team's Sydney struggles continued, with Cameron Waters falling out of title contention after another "tough" weekend.
It was made even tougher when Waters was wiped out of Saturday's race by teammate Jack Le Brocq.
James Courtney was also tipped into a spin and avoided an accident, but fell out of the top 10 in the points.
Walkinshaw Andretti United
It could have been a different story for WAU had Chaz Mostert not been mugged on the line by Shane van Gisbergen for a Race 27 trophy.
Mostert and WAU clearly turned a corner, but results are the most important commodity.
Critically, Bryce Fullwood suffered an electrical drama and failed to finish Saturday's race.
Will Davison
Davison's victory wait was extended to another week after he fell away in Race 27. Davison led De Pasquale late on, but his tyres fell away and he crossed the line a lonely fifth.
The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will resume this weekend at the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight.
Every session of the event will be broadcast live on Foxtel (Fox Sports 506) and streamed on Kayo.
