The 2022 Dunlop Series will feature another experienced ace in Ryal Harris, who will return to the development series.

It was confirmed Wednesday that Harris will partner Aaron Seton in an expanded Matt Stone Racing line-up.

Harris, the 2021 SuperUte champion, will make the switch to Super2.

He previously competed in the category in 2014 and 2016 before shifting to the ute category.

The Queenslander is as successful as they come in ute racing; he won the V8 Ute Racing Series title in 2012, 2013 and 2015.

He added titles in 2019 and 2021 in the category's new dual-cab era.

However, returning to Super2 presents a new challenge for Harris, who already has a relationship with MSR.

**"**I have a pretty good track record with Matt Stone Racing already, having won the 2015 V8 Ute Championship together," he said.

"I am happy to be involved with Matt and the whole organisation again.

"It all just makes sense as EFS and all my other personal sponsors are Southeast Queensland based."

Harris started karting at 11, and claimed 14 state and national titles.

Now, 36, Harris stepped up to the V8 Ute series with Dick Johnson Racing in 2004.

He is now the most successful ute driver in history, having recorded over 50 race wins, 13 pole positions and five titles.

However, he remained adamant his move to Super2 is centred on getting results.

"Obviously, we are not here to make up numbers, we will be going for race wins and a championship." he continued.

"I know I have a big ask of me, as I’ve got limited experience in a Supercar, but I am pretty confident I’ll get up to speed pretty fast and we will have a good season."

Harris completes MSR's 2022 Super2 driver line up with Seton returning for a second season.

The new Super2 season will commence at the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight across March 4-6. CLICK HERE to purchase your tickets.
